Beginners of English conversation can reach the CEFR2 A1 level (understand basic expressions used in daily life and be able to carry out very simple exchanges) by going through the four basic steps. If you have come this far, you have already escaped from the beginner level and are now at the entrance to the intermediate level.
■STEP 1: Stand at the starting line to begin English conversation lessons (12 lessons)
There are many beginners in English conversation who have graduated from school many years ago. Even if such a person suddenly starts full-fledged lessons, he or she will not be able to keep up with the speed and pace, and after taking a few lessons, the lessons themselves will become painful. By starting with a "run-in" period, you will be able to stand on the starting line of English conversation lessons.
About 12 lessons are required for break-in, but this varies from person to person. The best part of our veteran instructors' experience is determining whether each student has made it to the starting line to begin English conversation lessons. It is said that ``beginners in English conversation often give up within the first three months,'' but most of them seem to be ``failures during the break-in''.
■STEP 2: Solidify the basics of English before conversation (12 lessons)
In order to acquire "communicable English", you need to have at least a first-year junior high school level of English knowledge. On the other hand, knowledge of a first year of junior high school is sufficient. Even if you have learned it once, for those who have graduated from school many years ago, it is like learning it for the first time. Over the course of 12 lessons, we will solidify the basics.
■STEP 3: Basics of English conversation (12 lessons)
Memorizing and using typical phrases is a golden rule of English conversation. The goal is to continue this for 12 lessons and reach the A0 level (able to understand simple expressions and convey one's name and feelings using basic phrases). There is no doubt that this will be the first time you realize that your English conversation skills are improving as you take more lessons.
However, at the same time, this is also the time when many students fall into their first slump. This is a natural thing that cannot be avoided in order for the brain to catch up with the input of new knowledge. If you can get through this slump with our veteran instructors, you will see a different view than before.
■STEP 4: Conversations suitable for more situations (12 lessons)
Learn English conversation expressions depending on the situation, and aim for A1 level (understand basic expressions of prophecy in daily life and be able to communicate in very simple ways). Once you've progressed to this point, you're no longer a beginner, but an intermediate player. You will be able to travel abroad without any worries. If there is a foreigner in your workplace, you will be able to communicate on a daily basis.
